Hi!  I’m Cassie and I love to sew.  For as long as I can remember, I have loved to do crafty things. Growing up, my mom sewed many of my clothes, usually from floral quilting cotton I picked out. As I grew, I learned to sew myself and became interested in fashion design.  Eventually I went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and earned a degree in Fashion Design. 

I began working in the fashion industry at a sleepwear and underwear company, and then moved on to a junior sportswear company.  ​After working in the fashion industry for eight years, I got married and moved across the country. After twelve years of designing knitting patterns for magazines and yarn companies, I put away my knitting needles and returned to my sewing machine.

When I began sewing my own bras, it was a revelation to realize I had spent my adult life in the wrong bra size! My lingerie sewing quickly expanded from bras also to panties, sleepwear and other lingerie. In 2019 Primrose Dawn was born out of my lifelong love for lingerie and my joy in creating clear and concise patterns to share with the world.

Primrose Dawn provides feminine but practical lingerie sewing patterns in a wide range of sizes to create custom lingerie at home.  Form, function, beauty and comfort are all areas of focus for each pattern we create for you.  We promote the beauty and dignity found in each individual and provide a supportive community for all sewists to share their creations and grow in their craft.
