When I was working on the Desiree Bra design, I wanted a rolled edge option for the foam cups.  But after several attempts, I just couldn’t get the cover to lay smoothly at the strap attachment point.  Rather than alter the look of the pattern, I decided to add foldover elastic at the neck and offer the rolled edge as a pattern hack.

The rolled edge neckline creates a smooth edge that does not require any trim at the neckline.  With just a few simple pattern changes you can create this style of cut-and-sew foam cups too.  See the video below.
